Who Am I?

If you’re reading this, it’s a fair guess that you already know who I am, but what’s a blog without a mini-bio? So here it is.

I am a writer, because writing keeps my soul alive.
I am a lover of languages, because they are bridges to precious people and cultures and places I would never know otherwise.
I am a proud older sister, because my siblings are the lights of my life.
I am a thankful daughter, because my parents have given me everything they have in them.
I am a blessed friend, because I receive love from so many people dear to my heart in so many unique ways.
I am a girl in utter awe of children, because they hold light in their eyes and innocence in their souls and love in their touch.
I am a student, because I want to turn my passion into action.
I am, quite literally, a wandering soul.
I am an unorganized, clumsy, uncoordinated scatterbrain who feels incredibly put together when wearing a matching pair of socks.
I am a girl trying to find her way in a world full of delight and pain and injustice and laughter and ugliness and beauty.
I am a girl trying to learn how not only to glory in the sunshine, but also to dance in the rain.
